reduTec – The Multivariate Data Analysis Tool

reduTec offers a variety of data analyses:

The independent modules are:

  • MSA – GR&R Analysis with respect to Tester, Load Board and Test Cell.
  • NPI – Proprietary ‘Smart Data Analysis’ focused on Product and Test Quality at Early Development Stage. (In Preparation.)
  • TQA – Classical Statistics for Test Pareto, Comparison of Testers, Sites, etc.
  • TOA & GOA – Proprietary Redundancy Analysis aiming at Test Time Reduction. Individual Tests or entire Test Groups are evaluated.
  • ATA & ATS – Proprietary Adaptive Test Group Analysis and Simulator of Test Cell Adaptive Controller.

Some details ofthe modules:

  • reduTec Measurement System Analysis – comprehensive Type 1 and 2/3 analyses are only a few mouse clicks away. An optional PDF report handily summarizes the repeatability and reproducibility features of your test system.

  • reduTec Test Qualification Analysis – statistical analyses with a large variety of analysis possibilities such as Cpk -simulations and hardware comparisons.
  • reduTec Test Optimisation Analysis – analysis of the information content and redundancy within test programs.

A single test can produce valuable information, which is, however, almost useless, if some other tests produce approximately the same results. The information content of the test program is the most important ingredient in a decision process which, eventually, suggests tests that can be (temporarily) removed from the test programme under the constraint of minimal information loss and maximal gain in test time reduction.

At the same time, the reduTec Test Optimisation monitors and estimates the risk of leaving out single tests or test groups, so the expert can decide not to sample tests which have a reasonable probability of contributing information or even detecting defective parts.

On the other hand, redundant tests are proposed for dynamic sampling done by the TesterDriver.

The optimisation algorithm can be applied on individual tests (TOA) or user-defined groups of tests (GOA). The latter merges the single tests within a group into a ‘super test’ and runs the redunndanca analysis on the super tests. Thus, a ranking of test groups is obtained. As groups are more effectively removed a singel tests within groups, the resulting Test Time Reduction is a ‘Net Profit’.

  • reduTec Adaptive Group Test Analysis – based on our patented Adaptive Group Testing © method efficient and low risk Adaptive Test recipes are found

reduTec Adaptive Group Test Simulation – the optimiSE TesterDriver action is simulated on real data to find the best Risc vs. Test Time Reduction ratio.

The TesterDriver triggers the alternation of test programs according to chosen parameter conditions on signature tests as the tester-based decision automaton actively interacts with test program and the tester’s operating system.
